- Give up plastic cups, utensils and plates at conferences and other meetings (one can easily make utensils, cups and plates available, that you won't have to instantly throw away).

- It is very nice to drink out of your own ceramic cup while working - everyone can bring theirs along, or such cups can be made available in the office.

- Buy organic food for meetings.

- Segregate plastic, glass and aluminium waste.

- Buy coffee with eco-labels: shade grown, fair trade, organic.

- Cotton towels and wipers made of cloth are better than paper towels.

- Buy hand soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher liquid that is environmentally friendly.

- Should you use a dishwasher - only use it if it's fully filled.
